New Huawei P9 render show slim metal body, dual rear camera setup
Huawei's upcoming flagship P9 have been headlining the rumor mill for quite some time now. We've already been treated to specifications, live shots and press renders of the P9. Now a new set of renders have surfaced online that goes hand-in-hand with what we've seen earlier.
The new render show the P9 from all angles. From the renders we can make out that, the P9 will have a slim metal body that will sport chamfered edges. On the back there is the dual-camera setup with LED flash, and the fingerprint scanner. On the side there is the volume rocker, power button and the SIM slot.
According to earlier reports the P9 will come in four variants. The entry level P9 Lite will be equipped with Snapdragon 650 SoC, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The P9 standard variant (shown in the image) will pack Kirin 950 SoC, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while the P9 higher end model will have Kirin 955 SoC, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. The Huawei P9 Max will have a phablet grade 6-inch QHD display and equipped with Kirin 955, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Other rumored features include dual 12-megapixel rear camera w/ Leica lenses and USB Type-C port.
Huawei has not yet announced when it'll launch the P9 family, but according to rumors, the launch is expected in Q2 2016.
