Possible OnePlus 3 specs outed by AnTuTu
A month ago OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei in an interview with CNET revealed that the company's next flagship, the OnePlus 3, will be launched in by the end of Q2 this year, with a new design, different than its predecessors.
Now the OnePlus 3 with model number A3000 has been spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking website, which has outed key features of the handset.
As per the listing the OnePlus 3 comes with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 820 SoC w/ Adreno 530 GPU. 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage (other storage models can be expected), 16-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front facing camera. The AnTuTu listing suggests that the OnePlus 3 will run Oxygen OS based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
OnePlus touts their flagships to be flagship killer, and the company with OnePlus 3 will also aim for the same by offering powerful innards and at a price that's a fraction to what Samsung, LG and other top manufacturer offer. The OnePlus 3 does pack specs somewhat similar to Samsung's Galaxy S7/S7 edge and LG's G5 (except for screen resolution), but it remains to see if it can match the performance of these handsets, and stay true to the flagship killer moniker like they did with their first handset, the OnePlus One.
