Xiaomi outs 10000mAh Mi Powerbank Pro, Mi Box 3 Enhanced Edition [China]


Xiaomi's power banks are known for their build quality and reliability. So far the Chinese brand has launched 5200mAh, 10400mAh, 16000mAh and 20000mAh power banks all supporting micro USB. Now Xiaomi has introduced a 10000mAh battery capacity power bank that supports USB Type-C, and micro USB as well.

The 10000mAh battery comes with USB Type-C support that supports fast charging capabilities, which allows it to be fully charged in 3.5 hours via an 18W charger.

The power bank sports a durable aluminum alloy body, that measures 12.58mm around the waist and weighs 223g. It has been designed by Texas Instruments and comes with nine layers of circuit protection, USB smart control, power button and LED lights for battery level indication.

Xiaomi says that  the power bank can charge Mi Note Pro fully in just 1 hour and 50 minutes compared to 2 hours and 30 minutes using a standard 5V/2A charger or a regular power bank.

In addition, Xiaomi also introduced the Mi Box 3 Enhanced Edition set-top box. The Android 5.1 Lollipop based TV box is powered by MediaTek MT68590 processor coupled with PowerVR GX6250 GPU and 8GB RAM. It comes with 8GB eMMC 5.0 storage, Bluetooth 4.1, 2 x USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI port. It supports H.265 10-bit 4K video output at 60fps and Dolby DTS audio.

The Xiaomi 10000mAh Mi Power bank Pro is priced at CNY 149 ($20 | Rs. 1,530) and the Mi Box 3 Enhanced Edition costs CNY 399 ($60 | Rs. 4,000). Both products are currently limited to China.
