Acer Predator 15, Predator 17 Windows 10 gaming laptops launched in India, prices start at Rs. 1,79,000

Acer India has launched two new Windows 10  gaming laptops in India, the Predator 15 and Predator 17. Both laptops will be available in the country later this month, starting at Rs. 1,79,000, and comes bundled with a gaming mouse, headphones and backpack.

Acer Predator 15 features 15.6-inch and comes with either Full HD or 4K UHD panels while the Predator 17 feature 17.3-inch Full HD display. Both support up to three displays including one NVIDIA G-SYNC monitor.

They are equipped with 6th gen Intel Core i7 processor (Skylake), Intel HD 530 graphics or NVIDIA GeForce GTX980M GPU and supports up to 64GB DDR4 RAM and comes with enterprise level 512GB PCIe SSD, with optional second 1TB 2.5-inch SSDs that work on 5400 RPM. They also include 4x USB 3.0 port, an HDMI port , DisplayPort 1.2, RJ45, headset jack, SD card reader and Optical drive. Acer has also packed full USB 3.1 Type-C which allows for faster file transfer in the Predator notebooks.

Since they are gaming laptops, and considering the heavy use of graphics, the Predator 15 and Predator 17, comes with a swappable “Cooler Master” fan module which can be inserted to laptop's optical drive bay to ensure that the laptop won't heat up while playing heavy games. Both of them have dust protection fans made of aluminum, as well as CoolBoost technology.

The laptops feature “Killer DoubleShot Pro” technology that allows users to use Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections together for high-speed online gaming. They also come with Predator SoundPound that delivers stellar audio performance with its four built-in speakers and subwoofers delivering 12 watts of sound.
