Acer Predator gaming desktops, monitors, projector launched in India

Acer, in addition to the Predator 15 and Predator 17 gaming laptops, also launched a handful of Predator series gaming devices including two desktops – Predator G3 & G6, two monitors – Predator Z35 & X34, and a projector – Predator Z650.

Predator G3 and G6 gaming desktops
Acer's Predator G3 and G6 gaming desktops are powered by the latest 6th gen Intel Core i7 (Skylake) processor aided by 64GB DDR4 RAM, and runs Windows 10 operating system. They sport an armour design and have 'One Punch' CPU over-clocking capabilities combined with IceTunnel cooling system, to keep the system's temperature in control at excess speeds.

The bigger G6 packs NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 980 GPU with 4K Ultra HD display support and sports Creative's Sound Blaster X-Fi MB5 to handle the audio department. It has support for up to 4TB of HDD storage, expandable by a further 512GB SSD.

Predator Z35, Predator X34 gaming monitors
The Predator Z35 flaunts a 35-inch curved ultra-widescreen G-SYNC display with VA panel. It has a 144Hz refresh rate that can be raised to 200Hz for optimised gaming. It comes with 2 x 9-watt speakers with Dolby HD audio, 4 x USB 3.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.2 and an HDMI port.

The Predator X34 is the world's first 21:9 ultra-wide curved monitor with NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. It sports a 34-inch curved display with 178-degree viewing angles and has 2 x 7watt speakers powered by DTS sound, a DisplayPort, HDMI port and  USB 3.0 port for fast charging of smartphones and other devices. The monitor has a zero frame design with an aluminum base.

Predator Z650 projector
It features short-throw technology, which allows to project a 100-inch image from 1.5 meters. The projector supports Full HD (1080p) projection with 20,000:1 contrast ratio and offers an RGB color wheel dubbed ColourPurity. It comes with 2 x 10-watt speakers with DTS sound and can be connected to a PC that supports HDMI 3D and 3DTV Play to transform PC games into stereoscopic 3D projection.

Pricing and availability
The Acer Predator G series gaming desktops prices start at Rs. 1,20,000 and will be available from May. The Predator Z35 and X34 montiors will be available in April at a starting price of Rs. 39,000, and goes up to Rs. 1,10,000. The Predator Z650 projector will cost Rs. 1,29,000. Al of them will be available via e-commerce portals as well as major brick-and-mortar stores throughout the country.
