Meizu after launching its budget smartphone the m3 note earlier this week in China, is now all set to release its flagship smartphone. The Chinese smartphone maker, has sent out invites for a press event on April 13 in Beijing, where it will unveil the Meizu Pro 6. The Pro 6 will be the successor of Pro 5 which was launched last year in September.

Meanwhile Meizu CEO has shared a photo of the Pro 6, which shows the backside of the phone. As per the photo, the Pro 6 will have a premium metallic body, the main camera will have laser-auto focus sensor, and the new antenna lines at the top and bottom at the back.

Meizu has already confirmed that the Pro 6 will be powered by a Deca-core Helio X25 processor. Mediatek said that the processor has been designed exclusively for the Pro 6. The Helio X25 SoC has the similar architecture as the Helio X20 and has three cluster designs that includes 4 x Cortex A53 cores, 4 x Cortex A53 cores and 2 x Cortex A72 performance cores, but the chip is clocked at a higher speed of 2.5GHz. The Mali T880 GPU clock speed has also increased up to 850MHz. Although the clock speeds are higher, the X25 will consumer same amount of power as  X20.
