OnePlus 3 benchmark suggests multiple variants, 6GB RAM

Earlier this year, OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei confirmed that the company's next flagship, the OnePlus 3 would sport a new design and unveiled this quarter. A month ago, the OnePlus 3 was spotted on AnTuTu (A3000) with details on a few specs that includes 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB storage and 16MP/8MP camera and run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Now the OnePlus 3 has been spotted on GFXBench with code name A3000, the same as AnTuTu and on Geekbench, with codename A3003, which suggests multiple variant of OnePlus 3 are in the works. The specs outed by GFXBench is in line with AnTuTu, except for the display, and storage which is 5-inch & 64GB storage and the listing adds 4K recording, NFC and other usual connectivity features.

But interestingly the OnePlus 3 (A3003) spotted on Geekbench packs a massive 6GB RAM, which have been recently utilized by couple of Chinese smartphone manufacturer like Meizu (Pro 6), Vernee (Apollo) vivo (XPlay 5), ZUK (Z2 Pro) and LeEco (Le Max 2). In addition Geekbench reveals that the OnePlus 3 (A3003) will be equipped by Snapdragon 820 SoC and run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

As for the launch date, rumor-mill suggest that the OnePlus 3 will be officially unveiled on May 28 and could go on sale by June 6.
