After mobile phones, Amazon India stops offering refunds on electronics
In February this year, Amazon India updated it returns and refunds policy for mobile phones, under which, customers cound no longer return the mobile phones purchased on the website to get refund, and only could get their mobile phones replace if it was damaged and defective.
Now the e-tailer has tweaked the returns and refunds policy again and the products that are not eligible for refunds include electronic devices. As per the new policy, Amazon India will no longer offer refunds on electronic products like laptops, tablets, monitors, camera and camera lenses, which are purchased on or after May 11 2016.
Just like before, customers are eligible for a free replacement if they receive damaged or defective products, which should be returned within 10 days of delivery. Note that, the new policy is applicable to electronic products that are fulfilled by Amazon India.
If you're planning to buy a new tablet, laptop, desktop, keep in mind that you'll no longer be able to return it, and get replacement, so shop wisely.
