OnePlus 3 rumored to come in two variants, base model price $310


OnePlus' next flagship killer OnePlus 3 is coming soon. The possible specs of phone was revealed by GeekBench and GFXBecnh benchmarks, that suggested that OnePlus 3 will come in two variants - one with 4GB RAM and the other with 6GB RAM. Now a report coming out of China suggests that the OnePlus 3 will indeed come in two RAM models. In addition possible pricing of OnePlus 3 have also been revealed.

The report citing internal sources mentions that OnePlus 3 base model will carry a price tag of CNY 1999 ($310 | Rs. 20,000), which is interestingly lesser than the price of OnePlus 2. The source also says that both version of OnePlus 3 will be equipped with Snapdragon 820 So, but the base model will get 4GB RAM and 32GB storage, while the top end model will pack 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.

Other rumored specs of OnePlus 3 include 5.5-inch 1080p display, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, USB Type-C and fingerprint scanner. It is expected to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

All this should be taken with a pinch of salt, as OnePlus has not confirmed any of these details as of now. As for the announcement date, OnePlus is expected to officially introduce the OnePlus 3 in the middle of May, and the phone is expected to go on sale by early June.
