Possible OnePlus 3 specs includes 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 16MP camera, NFC
The much anticipated OnePlus 3 launch is nearing, and while we are yet to get a date for the launch event, the rumors have been dropping hints of what to expect from the OnePlus 3.
The latest comes from Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), who has shared a screenshot reportedly taken from the OnePlus 3, that reveals some of the key information of the handset. According to the screen shot, the OnePlus 3 carries the model number RAIN A300. A OnePlus 3 device with same model number surfaced earlier on AnTuTu.
According to Blass, the OnePlus 3 will come with 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p display), Snapdragon 820 SoC, 64GB on-board storage, 16MP rear camera and this have NFC connectivity, which was missing in OnePlus 2.
Interestingly, the screenshot shows the OnePlus 3 running Android N Developer preview build with Oxygen OS 3.1 on top. This could mean that OnePlus 3 will either ship with Android N or be updated to the new Android version when it's officially released.
The specs are in-line with what AnTuTu had revealed earlier. Other possible specifications of OnePlus 3 include 4GB RAM and 8-megapixel front camera.
The OnePlus 3 is expected to launch, anytime before the end of June in an VR event.
