Possible specs of Moto G (4th gen), Moto G Plus leaked

Motorola has scheduled an event in India on May 17, where the launch of Moto G (4th gen)/G Plus is expected. Now ahead of the launch, possible specifications of both the handset have leaked online (via). If the leaked specs are true, the Moto G 4th gen series appears to be a major upgrade over last year's Moto G3.

The Moto G3 base model had 1GB RAM + 8GB storage while the top end model had 2GB RAM + 16GB storage. This time the base model Moto G (4th gen) will get 2GB RAM + 16GB storage, while the top end model, Moto G Plus will have 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage.

The differences does not stop there. The Moto G (4th gen) will get a 13-megapixel rear camera, while the Moto G Plus gets 16-megapixel rear camera, and will also have a fingerprint scanner. Except for these changes the rest of the specs of Moto G (4th gen) and Moto G Plus are identical.

The Moto G (4th gen) and Moto G Plus are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC or Snapdragon 617 SoC. They will come with 5.5-inch 1080 display w/ Gorilla glass protection, Snapdragon 430 Soc w/ Adreno 505 GPU, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE and 3000mAh battery. They will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and will be water resistant.

As per earlier rumors Moto G 4th gen will be priced 240 Euro ($271 | Rs. 18,000) , while the Moto G Plus will cost 280 Euro ($316 | Rs. 21,000).
