Samsung Galaxy C5 surfaces in live photos, will have metal build

Samsung is working on a new Galaxy 'C' series smartphones and has at least two models in line for release dubbed Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) and Galaxy C7 (SM-C7000). The Galaxy C series smartphones are expected to have metal build, and the specs have already surfaced on benchmarking websites. Now for the very first time the Galaxy C5 live photos have leaked online revealing its design.

The leaked image confirms that Galaxy C5 will have a metal body. The back of the handset looks a lot like HTC's smartphones such as HTC 10, One M9 and One S9 to name a few with two antenna stripes across top and bottom and a similar type of camera placement with dual-tone LED flash module.

As for the specification, the Galaxy C5 is expected to feature 5.2-inch 1080p display, octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC w/ Adreno 405 GPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt expandable storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4G LTE, NFC and will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

There are still no details on the launch date of Galaxy C series, but if earlier rumors are true China is going to be the first market to get the C series smartphone.
