Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016), J7 (2016) launched in India


Samsung has launched the 2016 edition of Galaxy J5 and J7 in India. They have been priced at Rs. 13,990 and 15,990, respectively and be available exclusively from Flipkart starting today midnight in Gold, White or Black colors. Both phones will also come bundled with double data offer from Airtel for six months, which will allow up to 30GB of free data. 

The Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) will come with S Bike mode that was introduced with the J3 (2016) and UDS (Ultra Data Saving) mode powered by Opera Max that compresses cellular data across all contents. In addition they also come with Ultra power-saving mode and My Galaxy app as well.

Spec-wise the Galaxy J5 2016 comes with 5.2-inch HD (720p) Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 410 SoC w/ Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt expandable storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE, NFC, Dual-SIM and 3100mAh battery. It runs Android Marshmallow.

The Galaxy J7 2016 has a 5.5-inch HD (720p) Super AMOLED display and is equipped with octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 3300mAh battery. It supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, NFC and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
