Windows 10 Anniversary Update for PCs, mobiles will support new display sizes
Microsoft has updated the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 10 Anniversary Update for both PC and Mobile compared to current OS version.
As per Microsoft's MSDN support page, the hardware requirements show that Windows 10 Mobile devices can have a display up to 9-inches, up from 8-inches. Windows 10 Mobile devices must also have an auto-flash for the Anniversary Update.
For Windows 10 PC products the screen size can be as small as 7-inches, which is down from 8-inches previously required. They should also have at least have 2GB of RAM (up from 1GB earlier) and need 16GB of internal storage for 32-bit version of Windows 10 PC and 20GB if they use 64-bit version.
The Windows 10 Anniversary update will be released for free to Windows 10 PC and Mobile products, as well as Xbox One game console, later this summer.
