Asus A540, R558 laptops with USB Type-C launched in India, starts at Rs. 20,990

Asus has expanded it laptop portfolio in India with the launch of A540 and R558 priced at Rs. 20,990 and Rs. 43,990 respectively. Both laptops comes with DOS, which means you can install the operating system of your choice. The laptops also have reversible USB Type-C ports and Bang & Olufsen powered speaker for immersive media experience.

The Asus A540 is an affordable laptop and features 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 LED display, 1.7GHz Intel Core i3-4005U processor, Intel HD Graphics 4400, 4GB RAM (upgradable to 8GB), 1TB HDD and 3-cell 33WHrs battery.

The Asus R558 on the other hand is a budget gaming laptop and comes with 15.6-inch 1080p display, 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-6200U processor, Intel HD graphics 520, 2GB NVIDIA GeForce 930MX graphics card, 4GB RAM (upgradable to 8GB), 1TB storage and 2-cell 38WHrs battery.

Both laptops includes a VGA web camera, SD card reader USB 2.0 port, USB 3.0 port, USB 3.1 Type-C port, RJ45 LAN jack, VGA port and HDMI 1.4 port.
