LG VPInput app lets you take control of G4, G5 and V10 from your PC


LG has released a new app called VPInput that will let users to take control of their LG smartphones from PC using mouse and keyboard. The app is compatible with G4, G5 and V10.

To use the functionality, you'll have need to have the VPInput app on the smartphone and VPInput PC software on Windows or Mac PC. The communication between the smartphone and PC will take over Bluetooth.

You can also setup function keys as shortcuts on the PC keyboard to launch your favorite smartphone feature or apps. It is not known if LG is planning to add support for more smartphones. 

Features of LG VPInput
  • Remotely control your Android Smartphone with the mouse on your PC
  • Remotely Input text on your Android Smartphone with the keyboard on your PC
  • Share the Clipboard text between your Android Smartphone and your PC (ex. CTRL+C, CTRL+V)
  • Send an immediately captured screen image of your Android Smartphone
  • Designate a shortcut of your Android Smartphone application on your PC (ex. Press F1, execute Call application)
