Honor Note 8 with Quad HD display launching on August 1
After launching Honor 8 smartphone, Huawei's sub-brand Honor is all set to launch its next smartphone which will boast high end specs. Last week Honor started teasing its upcoming phablet, the Honor Note 8 and revealed that it will flaunt QHD display and have a giant display.
Now Honor has announced the it will unveil the Honor Note 8 in China on August 1. The specs are no mystery, as the Honor Note 8 was spotted on TENAA last month, and given the certification website's past credibility, the specs revealed could be final.
As per TENAA, the Honor 8 Note has 6.6-inch QHD (2K) OLED screen, octa-core Kirin 950 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, Android Marshmallow and a huge 4400mAh battery. It will sport a slim 7.18mm metal body and weigh 219g. We can also expect another variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
The Honor 8 will be competing against Xiaomi's 6.44-inch Mi Max. The brand has already taken a dig at Xiaomi's phablet saying the Honor Note 8 doesn't have a large screen alone, but has lots of surprises as well. To recall, Mi Max flaunts a giant 6.44-inch Full HD screen and offers same mid-tier specs as Redmi Note 3.
