OnePlus 3 Soft Gold version roll out begins starting from the U.S

The OnePlus 3 Soft Gold version is now available for purchase in the U.S for $399 (Rs. 27,999), same price as the Graphite version. OnePlus says that the Gold version will be available in limited quantities, so to get your hands on one, you will have to order quickly after the sale begins.

The Soft Gold version of OnePlus 3 will also be available in Europe, Hong Kong and Canada from August 1 in limited quantities. OnePlus did not reveal when the Soft Gold version will be available in other regions, but promised to share more information on the launch date for India soon.

"This isn’t your typical gaudy gold smartphone. We’ve toned the color down for a light, elegant look. To complement this more low-profile take on gold, we went with a subtle texture reminiscent of holding fine, silky-soft sand." OnePlus said about the new Soft Gold OnePlus 3 version. 

Apart from color change, the design and specifications will be same as the Graphite version. To recall the specs, the OnePlus 3 comes with 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 6GB RAM, 64GB non-expandable storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, NFC, USB Type-C, dual-SIM slot, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery. It runs Android Marshmallow based Oxygen OS 3.0.
