Samsung Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition arriving on July 7

Samsung released the Batman themed Galaxy S7 edge Injustice edition in May. The company is now gearing up for the launch of another limited edition of Galaxy S7 edge, dubbed Galaxy S7 edge Olympic Edition. As the name suggests it is to commemorate 2016 Rio Olympic Games which begins August 5.

The Galaxy S7 edge Olympic edition will have the same specs as the current Galaxy S7 edge, but will be dressed in black, use the colors from Olympic logo as accent colors on the front, rear and side panels, and have the official Olympic logo at the back. The device could come with Olympic related apps, themes wallpaper and more.

This is not the first time Samsung has released a special Olympic edition of its flagship device. In 2012, the company released Galaxy S3 Olympic Edition to commemorate 2012 London Olympic and Galaxy Note 3 Olympic Edition for the 2014 Olympic in Sochi, Russia.

The Samsung Galaxy 7 edge Olympic edition will be officially announced on July 7.
