Asus ZenWatch 3 with circular design likely to launch at IFA 2016

Asus has announced that it will be hosting its pre-IFA event on August 31. The company has also released a teaser that says "Incredible is coming", without revealing anything or giving hint about the upcoming incredible product.

However, if reports and rumors are to be believed, Asus will unveil the ZenWatch 3, the successor of ZenWatch 2, which was introduced around the same time last year.

The Asus ZenWatch 3 was recently certified by FCC with a round design, which means the ZenWatch 3 will be Asus' first smartwatch to flaunt a circular display. For reference, the ZenWatch 2 had a square design.

The FCC documents also revealed that the ZenWatch 3 will have stainless steel strap, Bluetooth 4.2, WiFi 802.11n and come with 5V 2A charger. Similar to its predecessor, the ZenWatch 3 is expected to run Android Wear.

In addition, a live photo of the ZenWatch 3 surfaced online. The photos confirm the circular design and additional features like three buttons on the right side for navigation and interchangeable straps.
