Huawei P9 with Leica certified dual rear cameras lands in India on August 17
Huawei has scheduled an event in India on August 17 for the launch of its flagship, the P9 with dual-rear Leica certified cameras. The P9 is already available for purchase in Europe and some parts of Asia.
To recap, the Huawei P9 was announced back in April and sports dual 12-megapixel Leica SUMMARIT lenses and 1.25 micron pixels offering brilliant image quality in low-light conditions. It also packs an independent depth measurement chip and hybrid focus technology. For clicking selfies and video calling there's 8-megapixel front camera.
As for the other specs, the Huawei P9 has 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED 2.5D curved glass display, Kirin 955 SoC, fingerprint scanner, hybrid dual SIM slots, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, NFC, Android Marshmallow and 3000mAh battery. It comes in two variants 3GB RAM w/ 32GB storage and 4GB RAM w/ 64GB storage.
The P9 was released in London starting at Euro 599 ($680 |Rs. 45,500), so we can expect it to be priced around that figure, when it arrives in India.
