Kodak launches LED TVs in India starting at Rs. 13,500
Kodak, a brand that specializes in making cameras has entered the TV market by launching five LED TVs in India starting from Rs. 13,500.
Out of the five TVs, three are smart TVs and comes in screen size of 32-inch, 40-inch and 50-inch, (32 HDXSMART, 40 FHDXSMART, and 50FHDXSMART) while the other two are regular TVs and comes in 32-inch and 42-inch screen sizes (32HD X900S and 40FHD X900S).
Kodak's Smart LED TVs run Android 4.4 KitKat and has built-in WiFi and Miracast technology, which lets users to stream content from their smartphones to the big screen. They also features MHL, USB to USB copy, 4GB storage, 512MB RAM and Air Mouse. The 40-inch and 50-inch Smart TVs sports full HD display with 300 nits Samsung panels.
The regular TVs features USB to USB copy, Samsung panels and built-in games. The 32-inch model has HD (720p) resolution with 250 nits brightness, while the 40-inch model offers full HD (1080p) screen with 300 nits brightness.
The 32-inch, 40-inch (Smart TV & regular TV) includes 2 x HDMI ports and 2 x USB ports. The 50-inch model (both Smart and regular TVs) have 3 x HDMI ports and 3 X USB ports.
Coming to the pricing, the 32-inch, 40-inch and 50-inch Smart TVs are priced at Rs. 17,000, Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 36,000 respectively. The regular 32-inch and 40-inch TVs are being offered for Rs. 13,500 and Rs. 21,500 respectively. Kodak's TV range will be available for purchase on Amazon India, Shopclues and Flipkart and will go on sale after August 15. 32 inch models will be available exclusively on Shopclues
