LeEco Le 2s photos surfaces online, rumored to pack 8GB RAM

A rumor earlier surfaced suggesting that LeEco is working on a Pro version of Le Max 2 with a whooping 8GB RAM. However, the rumor was shot down, when LeEco released a 128GB storage/6GB RAM model of Le Max 2. Now the rumor has surfaced one again, and this time it suggests that the company is working on a powerful variant of Le 2.

Reportedly dubbed Le 2s, the phone has been leaked in a couple of live photos. Rumors has it that the Le 2s will be the world's first smartphone to pack 8GB of RAM.

As for the leaked photos they show the front side of Le 2s partially, so do take it with a grain of salt. As seen in the photo, the Le 2s has narrow bezels on the side, and the front camera, ear piece and sensor are positioned similar to Le 2. The phone is most likely to have a fingerprint scanner, but it is not known whether it will be embedded into the home button or placed back.

The report also suggests that in addition to 8GB RAM, the Le 2s will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 SoC, 5.5-inch QHD display with 2.5D glass on top and 64GB of internal storage.

Interestingly a similar looking (the front side) LeEco smartphone with dual-rear cameras surfaced last month, but there is no enough proof to prove both are same phones.

As for the release date, if rumors are to believed, the Le 2s could go official in September.
