LG V20 will be announced on September 6

Earlier this week, LG confirmed that it will unveil the successor of V10, the V20 in September. Now we have the launch date. LG has scheduled and event in San Francisco on September 6 to announce the V20.

The LG V20 invite shows a pop-up-book with tagline "Play more" hinting at the phones strong multimedia capabilities.

LG has already confirmed that the V20 will run Android 7.0 Nougat. Other details are scarce, however, the V20, very much like the V10 is likely to come with secondary always on screen above the main screen, military grade durable body, dual front camera, and premium & rich multimedia experience.

After the failure of LG G5, much is riding on the V20 for LG. The company's' mobile business saw a loss of  $132 million in the Q2 of the financial year.
