Lenovo Tab 3 8 Plus with Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB RAM leaked online.


Back in February, Lenovo launched a trio of Tab 3 series tablets: Tab 3 7, Tab 3 8 and Tab 3 10 business. Last month an upgraded Tab 3 7 tablet dubbed Tab 3 7 Plus with high resolution display, more RAM and faster processor leaked online and is reportedly on sale in select region acrorss Europe.

Now Lenovo is reportedly gearing up to release Tab 3 8 with same (+ camera & storage) upgrades and will be called Tab 3 8 Plus.

The current Lenovo Tab 3 8 features 8-inch 720p display, quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB storage. But the upgraded model, Tab 3 8 Plus will have 8-inch Full HD or 1080p display, Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor and 3GB RAM. Additionally it will come in three storage models: 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

The Tab 3 8 had 5MP rear & 2MP font camera, but the Tab 3 8 Plus gets a bump to 8MP/5MP rear and front cameras. Other features include dual-SIM & microSD card slots, 4G LTE (optional), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 4250mAh battery.

The Tab 3 8 entered the market at $99 for the WiFi model and $149 for the LTE model, but the new Tab 3 8 Plus with upgraded specs is sure to be priced higher. Currently, there is no word on its release date or pricing.
