Moto M surfaces in leaked render and live photos

After the innovative Moto Z series, Motorola (a Lenovo company) is reportedly working on a new budget Moto M series that will co-exist alongside the Moto M, Moto G and Moto E series.

The first Moto M series device will be called Moto M and it is no secret what it looks like and what specs it has to offer, as it has already received TENAA certification back in August. Now live photos and renders of Moto M has leaked surfaced showing the upcoming phone once again.

The leaked photo show that the Moto M will sport metal unibody design, and will be the first Moto smartphone to have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Moto Z line up were the first Motorola smartphones to boast fingerprint scanner, but it was embedded into the home button.

One of the photos reveal that Moto M has the model number XT1662 and ship with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with security patches for September.

According to TENAA, the XT1662 model of Moto M will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display, MediaTek Helio P10 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 3000mAh battery. There's another compact model of XT1663 with 4.6-inch Full HD display.

If rumors are to be believed the Moto M will be priced at CNY 1999 (Rs. 19,500 | $294) and is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
