HTC 10 evo arriving in India late December


Yesterday HTC launched the Desire Pro in India. In addition the company also announced the recently launched HTC 10 evo will be coming to India as well. Unfortunately, HTC has not revealed the pricing and exact availability date, but said that it will launch December-end.

To refresh, the HTC 10 evo was unveiled earlier this week in Taiwan starting at NT$ 17,990 ($564 | Rs. 38,500). It is basically an international variant of HTC Bolt, which was launched in the U.S earlier this month exclusively for carrier Sprint.


Some of the highlighting features of HTC 10 evo are its water and dust resistant metal body with rounded corners and the ommision of 3.5mm audio jack in favor of USB Type-C audio. It also includes a fingerprint sensor which is backed into the home button, and has Hi-Res 24-bit audio. It will run Google's latest Android 7.0 Nougat out-of the box.

The HTC 10 evo has 5.5-inch QHD Super LCD 3 display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB RAM/64GB storage and microSD card slot. For photography, it gets 16MP OIS main camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and 4K video recording, and a 8MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 802.11ac WiFi, USB Type-C, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and GPS. It is fueled by 3200mAh battery backed by Quick Charge 2.0 technology.
