Lenovo K6 Power India launch date set for November 29

For the last few days Lenovo has been teasing the launch of the battery-centric K6 Power in India. Now the company has announced that the phone will launch in the country on November 29. First unveiled at IFA in September the Lenovo K6 Power packs a beefy 4000mAh battery.

As for the other specs, the K6 Power features 5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 13MP/8MP cameras, 4G LTE and fingerprint scanner. It sports a metal unibody design that comes in Dark gray, Gold and Silver colors.

Running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow the K6 Power will be available in two variants: 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage.

The Lenovo K6 Power will be competing with Xiaomi's popular Redmi 3S/ 3S Prime, which Flipkart claims to have sold over 1 million units (10 lakhs). Interestingly, both K6 Power and Redmi 3S offers similar specs. The Redmi 3S is priced at Rs. 6,999 and the Redmi 3S Prime costs Rs. 7,999, so it will be interesting to see what Lenovo's pricing strategy will be.
