Xiaomi Mi MIX Nano with 5.5-inch bezel-less display surfaces

Xiaomi's Mi MIX is one of the most interesting smartphone of this year with a futuristic design. It sports a bezel less design with 6.4-inch screen that has a screen to body ratio of 91.3 percent. Unfortunately, Xiaomi said it would make only a limited number of units available of MIX. Moreover during its debut sale, it just took 10 seconds for the MIX to go out of stock.

That said, a new rumor coming out of China suggests that Xiaomi is working on a smaller version of the MIX, codenamed Mi MIX Nano. Live images of the phone has surfaced, and if legit, the smaller MIX will have a design similar to that of  6.4-inch Mi Mix including the ceramic body.

The smaller Mi Mix is expected to comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, making it more comfortable to hold. It will be powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC carrying quad-core processor and Adreno 530 GPU, and arrive with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. It will run Android Marshmallow based MIUI 8.

It is rumored to carry a price tag of CNY 2999 ($436 | Rs. 30,000), which is Rs. 5,000/CNY 500 less than Mi MIX. There are no details on release date.
