Dell accidentally leaks refreshed XPS 15 laptop with Kaby Lake, GTX 1050 graphics
Dell unveiled the XPS 15 laptop with Skylake processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics card last year. Now with CES 2017 just round the corner, details of a refreshed XPS 15 model have surfaced online.
The refreshed Dell XPS 15 was briefly listed on Dell website for a short time, and was later taken down, but before that happened, the laptop fell victim to leak.
According to the listing the XPS 15 9560 will get performance boost with Kaby Lake refresh with the option of Core i3-7100HQ, Core i5-7300HQ or Core i7-7770HQ processors. The graphics department will also be boasted by NVIDIA's Pascal based GeForce GTX 1050 with 4GB VRAM. It will also come with an optional fingerprint reader with Windows Hello support.
Other features include optional 4K display, support up to 32GB of 2133MHz RAM, up to 1TB storage with option of HDD or SDD and Killer 1535 Wireless-AC card for improved WiFI connectivity.
There's no word on release dates, but its's likely we get to know more about the Dell XPS 15 at CES in Las Vegas in January.
