OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T start receiving Android Nougat

Last month OnePlus confirmed that it would update OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T  to Android Nougat before the end of the year. Now delivering its promise, OnePlus has announced that the stable Nougat update for OnePlus 3/3T will roll out later tonight (now live).

The Nougat based OxygenOS 4.0 update will roll out Over-the-Air in phases, and as always the case, it will initially reach a small number of users, followed by a broader roll out in the coming days. The download package weighs at 1GB for OnePlus 3 and 919MB for OnePlus 3T.

OnePlus also released the first Nougat beta build for the OnePlus 3T in the form of OxyenOS Open Beta 1. It is now available for download (links here) and OnePlus 3T owners who can't wait for the stable Nougat build can flash it manually to their device.
