Samsung Galaxy J3 Emerge specs revealed, U.S launch on January 6

Samsung has launched a slew of mid-range smartphones in India and other global markets this year. Continuing the trend, the South-Korean tech giant is all set to launch a new mid-range smartphone in the U.S in 2017.

Dubbed Galaxy J3 Emerge, it is a variant of Galaxy J3 2017, and will release in the U.S on January 6. It will sold by U.S carrier Sprint and its two prepaid brands, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Galaxy J3 Emerge will feature 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It will come with 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front facing camera, dual-SIM slots, microSD card slot and 4G LTE support. The phone will be backed by 2600mAh battery.

Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy J3 Emerge/J3 2017 in India next year.
