Moto G5/G5 Play possible specs leaked


Motorola is expected to unveil the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus at MWC next month. Both have already have been a part of couple leaks including live images and press renders plus specifications of Moto G5 Plus. Now the possible specs of its smaller sibling the Moto G5 or Moto G5 Play are out as well.

The details of Moto G5 was found in an Brazilian online retailer's database with the moniker Moto G5 XT1672.

As per the the source the Moto G5/Moto G5 Play will feature 5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It will come with 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G LTE support and 2800mAh battery. It will run Android Nougat.

According to rumors these specs are of Moto G5 Play, whereas the Moto G5 is rumored to have the same specs, but come with 3GB RAM and 3000mAh battery.

There were no photos leaked, but the report suggests that the design of Moto G5 will be same as Moto G5 Plus.

The Moto G5 Plus, one the other hand is said to have 5.5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 12MP/5MP cameras, Android Nougat, NFC, 4G LTE and 3100mAh battery.

The Moto G5 series will be announced at Moto's pre-MWC event on February 26 in Barcelona, and will make its way to India in March.
