Huawei R952 and R662 rugged feature phones get certified by TENAA


It appears that Huawei is soon going to launch a pair of  high-end rugged feature phones. Recently, the Huawei R952 and R662 feature phones were certified by China's certification website, TENAA revealing the features and image of the devices.

As per the listing both the feature have identical specifications, except for the dimensions, design color and battery capacity. Both will have rugged body, T9 keypads, D-pad controls, rear cameras and LED flash. 

They will sport 2.4-inch 320 x 240 pixels TFT display and be equipped with in-house 1.2GHz octa-core Kirin 620 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and microSD card slot. Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB port.



The Huawei R952 packs a beefy 3000mAh battery, measures 141.4 x 62.8 x 25.9mm and weighs around 24g. It will come in Black/Orange color. The Huawei R662 on the other hand packs 2000mAh battery, measures 130.8 x 60 x 21mm, weighs 172g and will be available in Black color only.

Currently there is no word, when Huawei plans to launch these feature phones.
