NuAns to launch a new smartphone on February 20

NuAns the makers of the unique looking NuAns Neo Windows phone, has announced that the company is launching a new smartphone on February 20.

The teaser shared by the company simply says "“Everything is new. Everything is in this one.” Details of the device is scarce, however, one may wonder if the company plans to switch the OS, given the state of Windows Phone operating system at present.

To recap the the company's first smartphone, NuAns Neo  was initially launched as an Japan exclusive back in December 2015, and made its global debut last year via Kickstarter campaign. Unfortunately it failed to get the required backers to hit its goal of $725,000 and the campaign ended.

The NuAns Neo is Windows phone boasting a unique design, sporting a swappable TWOTONE back covers, allowing users to choose different textures and colors, for both the top and bottom of the rear side. It also supports Windows Continuum, a feature that allows the smartphone to work like a PC when connected to a monitor via dock.

It was a mid-range smartphone with features like 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 617 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13MP/5MP camera, 3350mAh battery, and carrying a price tag equivalent to $378 or Rs. 23,000.
