Samsung is yet to announce an official unveiling date of its upcoming Galaxy S8, but we're getting to see plenty of leaks before that. In the latest leak, detailed schematics of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus created "based upon an eyewitness account" has hit the interwebs.

Few days back Evan Blass shared live image of Galaxy S8 prototype, which revealed that the smartphone will have a rear mounted fingerprint scanner, and the schematics confirms this. As per the the schematics, Galaxy S8/S8 Plus's fingerprint scanner will be located at the back, next to the camera.

In Samsung's earlier flagships, the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S7, the fingerprint sensor was baked into the home button below the display.

But with Galaxy S8, Samsung has ditched the home button and capacitive keys (back and recent) to increase the display occupancy, and the phone will come with on-screen navigation button. As a result the Galaxy S8/S8 Plus will sport highly-narrow bezels and dual-edge curved display.

It is being said that these dimensions will give the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

The schematics also confirm that presence of 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.

If rumors are to be believed, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S8 on March 29 in New York. Meanwhile, a new rumor claims that Samsung will share the first teaser video of the Galaxy S8 at MWC later this month. At the same event, Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Tab S3.
