MTNL Offer: 2GB 3G data per day and unlimited calls within its network at Rs. 319


MTNL (Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited) has joined the on-going tariff war, which was sparked after the entry of Reliance Jio, with a new tariff plan. 

The state-run teleco is offering 2GB of 3G data per day and unlimited calling within its network for Rs. 319. Users will also get  25 minutes of free call to other networks everyday and after that they will be charged 25 paise for a minute phone call.

The new plan will be available for MTNL's pre-paid subscriber in Mumbai and Delhi starting tomorrow, April 1. It comes with a validity of 28 days and the offer is valid for three months for availing the same value benefits.

Major telecos in the country are coming out with various plans to tackle threat from Reliance Jio, to match the new comers tariff plans from April 1. The lowest plan for Jio, under its special membership, offers 1GB of 4G data every day and unlimited calling for Rs. 303 per month. 

To take on Jio, Airtel , Vodafone and BSNL (56GB) came out with special plans with similar benefits priced at Rs. 345, Rs. 342 and Rs. 339 respectively per month.
