Oppo F3, F3 Plus with dual-selfie cameras to be launched on March 23

Oppo's selfie-centric 'F' series has been very popular, selling millions of units, and also helped the comapny to become the world's fourth largest smartphone vendor last year.

Now the popular Chinese smartphone maker is all set to add a new member to the F series, that will succeed the F1s. The brand has scheduled an event in India on March 23, where it is expected to introduce the F3 Plus . The event teaser indicates that Oppo F3 Plus will sports dual selfie camera.

According to rumors, the Oppo F3 Plus will have a combination of 16MP + 8MP dual selfie cameras, which will be a treat for selfie-fans. It is not known how the dual-selfie camera system will work.

At the rear Oppo F3 Plus will get a 16MP shooter. Other features include a large 6-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 653 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, 4G LTE and dual-SIM slots. It will run Android Marshmallow based ColorOS 3.0 and fueled by a 4000mAh battery.

Besides Oppo F3 Plus, Oppo is also expected unveil a toned down version Oppo F3. It's not clear if the phone will feature dual-selfie cameras.

Meanwhile, both Oppo F3 and F3 Plus were spotted in promotional poster in Philippines, where Oppo phones are very popular. The poster also touts that the Oppo F3 series will sport dual-selfie cameras.

Back in January this year vivo launched V5 Plus with dual-selfie camera (20MP + 8MP sensor) in the country, and will be Oppo F3/F3 Plus's main competitor.
