Oppo F3 Plus accidentally listed on company website ahead of launch

Oppo is all set to launch its latest selfie smartphone the F3 Plus in India, and few other countries, tomorrow (March 23). However, ahead of the official launch Oppo accidentally listed the F3 Plus on its India website (now taken down), revealing the entire spec sheet.

Similar to previous 'F' series phone, Oppo is marketing the F3 Plus as 'Selfie Expert'. The Oppo F3 Plus comes with dual-selfie camera sporting a 16MP Sony IMX398 sensor as the main front facing snapper, and a secondary 8MP 120-degree wide angle lens, to snap group selfies. It also features Beautify 4.0 which will enhance the selfie captured further via software for a natural looking shot.

The main camera sitting at the rear is a 16MP Sony IMX398 lens with extra-wide f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.8-inch sensor which was developed by Sony, exclusively for Oppo, dual-LED flash and dual PDAF focusing technology.

Coming to the other specs, the metal-clad Oppo F3 Plus features a phablet grade 6-inch Full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection and is equipped with Snapdragon 653 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, which is expandable via microSD card.

For connectivity there's hybrid dual-SIM slots, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth and GPS. Running Android Marshmallow based ColorOS 3.0 UI, the phone is fueled by a 4000mAh battery and supports Oppo's VOOC Fast Charge technology. There's also a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button.

We will know the pricing and availability details tomorrow. Oppo is also expected to launch Oppo F3 as well.
