Possible render, specs, pricing, launch date of Mi 6, Mi 6 Plus surfaces

If reports are to be believed, Xiaomi is holding an event in April in China to unveil its latest flagship devices including the Mi 6, Mi 6 Plus smartphones, and Mi Pad 3. Additionally alleged specifications, pricing (of Mi Pad 3) and render of the Mi 6/Mi 6 have also hit the interwebs.

As seen in the render, the Mi 6 will sport a glass back and have a dual-rear camera setup. Rumors also suggest that the Plus model would pack dual-rear cameras.

Previous reports have suggested that the Mi 6 will first launch with Snapdragon 821 chip, followed by Snapdragon 835 at a later date. However, now it is being said that, the Mi 6 line up will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor. This information was even teased by Xiaomi on its official Weibo page.

The Mi 6 will reportedly feature 5.15-inch Full HD display, and even though the press render shows a dual-camera setup, the source suggests that the camera on Mi 6 will be a single 19MP Sony IMX400 sensor with 5-axis stabilization. So the render might be of the Mi 6 Plus.

The Mi 6 Plus is rumored to feature 12MP + 20MP dual-rear cameras, and sport 5.7-inch QHD display. They will be available in multiple variants featureing 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB/256 storage. Both the phones will run Android Nougat and have their fingerprint sensor baked into the home button.

The Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus pricing is as follows ―
Mi 6 4GB RAM/32GB storage ― CNY 1999 ($290 | Rs. 19,000)
Mi 6 4GB RAM/64GB storage ― CNY 2299 ($333 | Rs. 22,000)

A separate report reveals the specifications and pricing details of the Mi Pad 3. According to the source, the Mi Pad 3 will arrive in two variants, one is the Android Nougat powered Mi Pad 3, and the other Windows 10 powered Mi Pad 3 Pro.

The Mi Pad will feature 7.9-inch display of unknown resolution and come with 4GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB storage. It is rumored to be priced at $188 (Rs. 12,000) for the 64GB variant and $231 (Rs. 15,000) for the 128GB variant.

The Mi Pad 3 Pro on the other hand will have a bigger 9.7-inch display, and be equipped with Intel Atom x7-Z8750 chip, 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. The base model will carry a price tag of $246 (Rs. 16,000).

The Xiaomi Mi 6 line up and Mi Pad 3 line up are rumored to be unveiled on April 11. Do note that, there is no way to confirm the render, specifications, pricing or launch date. Xiaomi is yet to start teasing the flagship devices and reveal a launch date, so take this news with a pinch of salt.
