Xiaomi Mi 6 spotted on GFXBench with Snapdragon 835


Xiaomi's highly anticipated upcoming flagship the Mi 6 has been talk of the town lately. The phone has been part of several leaks (both fake and alleged), but now we get to know, what can be expected from the Mi 6.

A smartphone codenamed Sagit has been spotted on GFXBench alleged to be the Mi 6, because of the GPU used — Adreno 540 which is part of Snapdragon 835 chip. The listing reveals specifications of two variants of Mi 6, and confirms some of the previously rumored specs, except the main camera.

The battery capacity of Mi 6 is rumored to be 3200mAh. There's also a plus model called Mi 6 Plus, and is expected to come with 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 835 chip, 6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage, dual 12MP Sony IMX362 rear cameras, 8MP front camera and 4500mAh battery. It is safe to assume the both phones will feature fingerprint scanner.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun recently confirmed that, the company will officially launch the Mi 6 this month. Unfortunately an exact date is not known, but the rumored dates of unveiling are April 11, April 16 or April 18.
