Xiaomi Sagit aka Mi 6 now spotted at AnTuTu, specs confirmed again

Xiaomi's latest flagship, the Mi 6 is expected to see the light of the day anytime soon. The phone was earlier spotted on GFXBench disguised as Sagit, but the specs listed on the benchmarking website indicated that it was Mi 6. And now it has appeared in another bench-marking website, AnTuTu, carrying the same set of specs.

While GFXBench did not directly reveal the processor in use (listed as octa-core CPU @ 2.2/2.4GHz | Adreno 540 GPU indicating SD835 chip), AnTuTu specifically mentions Snapdragon 835 as the processor. It's also worth mentioning the 4GB RAM/64GB storage variant went through AnTuTu, though there's another model with 6GB RAM/128GB storage.

Xiaomi Mi 6 possible specifications
5.1-inch Full HD display
Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.2GHz/2.4GHz, Adreno 540 GPU
4GB/6GB RAM
64GB/128GB storage
12MP rear camera with LED flash, 4K video recording
8MP front camera with 4K video recording
Android 7.1.1 based MIUI
NFC
Fingerprint scanner
3200mAh battery (rumor)

Xiaomi is also expected to launch a plus model of Mi 6 dubbed Mi 6 Plus with bigger 5.7-inch QHD display, 12MP dual cameras and 4500mAh battery.

The Mi 6 is one of the highly anticipated flagship of this year. The reason is pretty simple. The phones offers a premium design and powerful hardware at an aggressive and reasonable price, just like its predecessor, the Mi 5.

The Mi 5 was unveiled back in February at MWC 2017 last year, but the company's latest flagship Mi 6 was delayed due to the shortage of Snapdragon 835 chip.

Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has already confirmed that the Mi 6 will launch this month, so an official announcement can be expected soon.
