Asus X00KD with dual-camera, big battery passes TENAA


Asus appears to be working on a couple of dual-camera smartphones. Earlier this month a render showed the ZenFone 4 Max with dual-rear cameras, and just a few days back Asus X051D claimed to be the ZenFone Go 2, was spotted on TENAA with dual-rear cameras. Now another Asus device with model number X00KD with dual-cameras has been certified by China's TENAA revealing the specs and design.

The new Asus X00KD's design is similar to X051D and appears to be a variant of X051D (ZenFone 2 Go).As per TENAA listing, the Asus X00KD will have 5-inch HD display, quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, 4020mAh battery and will be offered in two variants: 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage versions. The storage is expandable via microSD card and the device will also have dual-SIM slots.

It will feature 13MP + 8MP dual rear cameras and 5MP front camera,  It will run Android Nougat and have a physical home button, which could hide the fingerprint sensor.

The recently certified X051D (ZenFone Go 2) is expected to have 5.5-inch HD display, octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, 3GB/4GB RAM, 32GB/64GB storage, 13MP dual cameras, 5MP front camera and 4850mAh battery.

The Asus X00KD will arrive in Black and Mocha Gold color, same as X501D. However, an official announcement date is yet to be revealed by Asus.
