LG V10 starts getting Android Nougat


Keeping its promise, LG has announced the roll out of Android Nougat to its 2015 flagship LG V10. Earlier the company confirmed that it will roll out Nougat to the device in second quarter of 2017 (between April and June).

The update is currently live in South Korea and is arriving as software version v30d and will bring Android Nougat 7.0 with LG UX 5.0+ on top for the following models: the LGF600S on SK Telecom, the LGF600L on LG U+ and the LGF600K on KTF

  • Adjusting the screen contents in a comfortable size - ability to enlarge or reduce the size of the content displayed on the screen to set a comfortable size for your eyes
  • Wider notification window
  • More useful reminders
  • Easy setting status check and status recommendation function
  • Convenient number blocking function
  • Data saving mode
  • New Language Settings
  • App data storage location setting - ability to store app data on your SD card
  • New themes feature
  • New lock screen
As mentioned earlier, Nougat roll out for the LG V10 is currently taking place in home market of South Korea, and should expand to other regions in the coming weeks. You can download the update for the V10 through LG Bridge desktop software.
