Samsung launches new QLED TVs in India starting at Rs. 3,14,900


Samsung is launching its new Q series 4K Ultra HD QLED TV line up in India ― Samsung Q9, Q8 and Q7 ―offering premium specifications. The South Korean tech giant's flagship TVs comes in flat and curved variants with near bezel-less display in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch and 88-inch sizes. 

The  Samsung Q9, Q8 and Q7 sport 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) UHD resolution, and are based on Quantum Dot technology providing better light efficiency, stability and a wider color spectrum. It also offers 100 per cent Colour volume, which Samsung says is the highest in the market right now. They also feature advanced HDR 2000 functionality, which promises more details with no loss or distortion to color.

The new TVs comes with a new smart TV interface, including voice control.  They come bundled with Samsung One Remote, which now supports more devices and offers voice control capabilities across Smart TV features. 

The TVs a are equipped with Invisible Connection to hide cable connections (achieved by using thin optical wires and an external connection box) and No Gap wall-mount, letting users to hang it anywhere. They also come with an optional Studio Stand as well.

There's also an app called Smart View, that is compatible with Android and iOS devices. The app lets you seamlessly share content from your smartphone/tablet to the TV.

Samsung says the price of Q series QLED TV goes up to Rs. 24,99,990 depending on the configuration, however, it has not revealed pricing of all the QLED TVs in the lineup yet.

The TVs will be up for pre-order starting May 2, until May 21, on Samsung India's online store, and shipping will start by the end of the month. Those who pre-order the new TVs will get a free Samsung Galaxy S8+ smartphone.
