HTC U11 India launch expected soon

HTC unveiled its new U sereis flagship, the HTC U11 last month, as the world's first smartphone to boast Edge Sense technology. The tech allows you to trigger certain actions like opening camera, send text by voice, check email and more by squeezing the edges of the phones.

Now it appears that, HTC is all set to launch the U11 in India, as it has been listed on the company's website in the country. However, there is no word regarding its price and availability at the moment.

Apart from the Edge Sense technology, other features are the one you find on 2017's flagship. It comes with 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage, 12MP UltraPixel 3 camera, 16MP selfies camera, fingerprint scanner and 3000mAh battery.

The device also comes with HTC Sense Companion, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa digital assistant, supports 4G LTE. It is IP67 rated for water and dust resistance, and ditches the 3.5mm audio jack in favor of USB-C audio.

The HTC U11 launching in India is most likely to have 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and dual-SIM slots.
