InFocus Turbo 5 with 5000mAh battery launching on January 28

US based InFocus recently started teasing the launch of a new battery-centric smartphone, with the launch date set for June 28. The company was tight lipped about what smartphone it would be launching, but now thanks to Amazon India's listing, we have the details on the name and specs.

The phone will be called InFocus Turbo 5, and its main highlight will be the battery capacity. It will pack 5000mAh battery, that is claimed to offer up to 23 hours of talk time and standby time of 816 hours. It also comes with Reverse Charging functionality, which means, you can use the smartphone as a power bank, and charge other devices via OTG.

The rest of the specs are mediocre, and are somewhat identical to Moto E4 Plus, which is expected to launch in the country soon. Also it's worth mentioning that Moto E4 Plus also carried 5000mAh battery as well, so both Turbo 5 and Moto E4 Plus will be going head on head.

The InFocus Turbo 5 will have 5.2-inch HD display, 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable storage, 13MP/5MP cameras, fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, 4G LTE and VoLTE. Good news is that it will be running the new Android Nougat software.

Considering the specs, the Turbo 5, should be priced between Rs. 7,000 and Rs. 8,000, but we will get thid information on Wednesday, alongside availability details.
