Moto C Plus launching in India on June 17


Motorola is having a busy month. The company launched the mid-range Moto Z2 Play and the budget Moto E4 & E4 Plus. It also have two event scheduled later this month on June 21 (in Brazil to launch Moto E4 & E4 Plus locally), and June 27, where it is most likely to introduce the Moto Z2. It is also rumored to unveil the Moto X4 on June 30. 

But before all those are about to happen, Motorola has an event in India on June 17, where it will launch the Moto C Plus. The Moto C Plus was announced alongside Moto C last month, which was released in India earlier this month. The Moto C is currently available via offline market for Rs. 5,999.

Speaking of Moto C Plus, it offers better specs than Moto C, so it will be priced slightly higher. The main highlight is its beefy battery capacity of 4000mAh, which according to Motorola will provide up to 30 hours of run time on a single charge.

Other specs include 5-inch HD display, 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, 1GB/2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 8MP/2MP cameras and 4G VoLTE. It has dedicated slots for dual-SIMs and microSD card, sports selfie flash runs Android Nougat out of the box. The phone's color options include Metallic Cherry, Pearl White, Fine Gold, and Starry Black.

The Moto C Plus is priced at 119 Euros in overseas market, which is around Rs. 8,600. But expect the price to be between Rs. 6,500 and Rs. 7,500 locally.
