OnePlus outs first official photo of OnePlus 5, confirms dual-cameras

Yesterday, the first official looking render of OnePlus 5 hit the interwebs, showing the horizontally placed dual-rear cameras and a design like the iPhone 7 Plus or Oppo's upcoming R9.

Now OnePlus itself has shared a image of the OnePlus 5, that is in line with the leaked render. The teaser image shows the dual-rear cameras at the back placed horizontally along with and LED flash. It flaunts a slim metal unibody design with the antenna lines present at top and bottom. Overall, the rear side reminds us of the Apple's iPhone 7 Plus and Oppo's upcoming R11.

OnePlus has already confirmed few details regarding OnePlus 5. It will have Full HD display, Snapdragon 835, fingerprint sensor embedded into home button, presence of 3.5mm audio jack, improved audio recording and run Android 7.1. The company also teamed up with DxO, to enhance the phone's camera.

Moving to rumors, a recent Amazon India listing revealed that OnePlus 5's Snapdragon 835 chip will be clocked at 2.3GHz, and the device will pack a whooping 8GB RAM. A 6GB RAM variant is also expected.

The OnePlus 5 will break cover on June 20, and the India release is set for June 22. In India, it will go on sale on the launch day itself, starting 4:30pm.
