Samsung is rolling out a new update to Galaxy J7 (2016) in India that brings bug fixes, stability improvements and June 2017 security patch. Post update you'll also find the Samsung Pay Mini app installed as well, meaning the device gets support for Samsung's mobile payment service.

On opening the app, it says Samsung Pay is coming for more devices, so other Galaxy J line of smartphones might get support for the mobile payment platform as well.

The over-the-air update for Galaxy J7 (2016) carries firmware version of J710FXXU3AQF6 and is 136.32MB. You can download the update by visiting the Software Update section in the settings menu.

The Samsung Pay Mini debut in India with the Galaxy J7 Max, and is also supported by the recently launched Galaxy On Max. With Samsung Pay Mini, you can transfer money using your Paytm wallet by just scanning codes, or through mobile numbers, or send money to bank account using UPI (Unified Payment Interface). The service also offers various promotions that offer cashback on payments.
